wishbone zine, a Cincinnati-based multimedia zine, is an online zine created from the belief that wishes are fragile things. Launched in December 2025 by Editor-in-Chief and creative director, Jaiden Barger, wishbone is a digital space devoted to sharing thoughtful creative work from voices everywhere.

Rooted in imagination and the quiet magic of possibility, wishbone publishes work across visual and literary mediums. Our mission is to give emerging and established creators alike a place to cast their wishes into the world and watch them take shape.

Alongside our issues, we run the wishbone blog—an always-open online platform featuring non-fiction, creative commentary, photography, and more. The blog is maintained by our staff writers, but community members are also welcome to submit their own work year-round.
